Interior designer Ankush Aggarwal of Ansa Interiors designs a house, incorporating a mix of rustic and countryside style design. Appreciating the client’s taste for traditional values, handmade products and accessories make their way to the interiors, giving it a classic and rich appeal. Elements like modern gadgets ensure that the comfort factor is taken care of and the space remains functional and maintains the inhabitant’s quality of life. Rustic style dominates the interiors, infusing warmth and a feeling that keeps the inhabitant closer to nature.
- Combination of rough stone texture and brass enlivens the drawing area. Golden hue adds warmth and glamour, providing a reflective surface to create an accent effect with light. This formal drawing room with splash of turquoise stands out against the neutral colour background, giving it a refreshing feel.
- The drawing room, duplex staircase and dining are separated by partitions while the kitchen is kept open in the same layout.
- Beige, brown and a touch of white gives an elegant feel to this modern bedroom. Veneer and the wooden flooring in matching colour tone add a contrasting touch to the dark colour bed. White cabinet and paintings give a pleasant and harmonious feel to the interiors.
- Wooden elements dominate the ceiling, buffet and the dining table space. Moderate use of grey and wood does not overpower the space. This easy colour combination follows interrupted throughout, giving ample opportunity to introduce new colours.
- This bedroom impresses with wood and brown tones and enhances the décor with subtle light effects and no touch of extra colour. The design though not loud is very attractive and unique in itself.
- The kitchen exerts tremendous influence on the interiors in terms of material, colour and light effect. White and turquoise cabinetry, grey countertop and white hanging lights on the breakfast counter together combine to make a fascinating juxtaposition. Open layout of the kitchen here works well to accommodate the range of organic shades used throughout the space, while maintaining the continuity in design.
