This is Kembhavi Architects'peaceful abode and they have created it to escape from the rush of fast paces urban lifestyle. The site boasts of trees that are more than a couple decades old and the architects has woven the house around the magnificent trees and for this very reason they have named this peaceful abode "Madhuban". This house is a contemporary fusion of Asian ad European architecture. It is largely inspired by the colours of nature and creates perfect balance and harmony with the abundant landscape around. Kembhavi architects are big on promoting eco friendly sustainable architecture and have adopted the same approach towards the design of their owe house as well. The use of local materials, abundant use of sky lights, solar panels, heat resistant glass and rain water harvesting makes it an eco-friendly house.Photographs: Kembhavi group
- Exterior view of the residence from the main entrance, featuring the zen garden and a contemporary use of wood and brick tiles keeping in tune with colours of nature.
- The entrance porch adjacent to the deck built around the ancient and auspicious combination of “Banni” and “Shammi” trees excides a tranquil ambiance..
- Main entrance door, lining room and entrance to dining room, showing free flowing spaces, use of colours in tune with nature.

- Dining area adjacent to the zen internal courtyard, open kitchen island, library on first floor overlooking the dining and the bridge to the first floor bedroom. The colours are very neutral and the pop of colour through upholstery and artist rendered railing adds uniqueness to this lively space where the family spends a lot of time together. The double height blinds both the floors.
