Accessories and colours always accentuate the ambiance of your space. But such trends changes very fast. To keep you updated with the current home décor trends in terms of accessory and colour, Anika Mittal Dhawan, Founder and Director, Mold Design Studio have shared 'what's in' the market.

  1. Trending now is the use of metals, whether its artwork, installations, paints, furniture, lighting or even hardware.
  2. Bronze, brass, rose gold and copper have been particularly dominating in combination wood, marble or glass. We feel that the trend will continue, butmay be warm gold and antique gold will be back in 2018.
  3. Colors, fabrics, wallpapers, furniture, accessories all play an import role in interiors. Current trends are floral prints in fabrics or wallpapers. If you don't like too much floral then just a touch of floral through cushions could act as an accent.
  4. Grays are very in these days, but probably the beiges and browns will be back in 2018. Bold colors like greens, blues are also very trendy and if added even through accessories could make a statement.
  5. Furniture will be minimal and functional, but it will have small elements/details of Indian heritage.
  6. One thing that will always be in style will be indoor plants as they will always add life to any place.
  7. Trending gift ideas for 2018 will definitely include smart home automation gadgets, tech accessories, metallic or ceramic home accessories and artisanal handmade products.
