It does not matter how well maintained or beautiful your home is! It always requires small repairs. And for small repairs, you can’t always call a plumber or mechanic. In such a case, you need to have some handy tools to repair small wear and tear by yourself. Mohit Mishra, Founder, Urban Upgrade Interiors gives a list of these tools.

  1. Tool kit: This is a must have for every home. It should comprise of the screwdriver of different size, hammer along with nails and bolts to fix things immediately.
  2. Silicon gel or petroleum jelly: This can be used to reduce the squeaky effect in doors and windows. If it does not work, then you need to lift the hinge pins and apply petroleum jelly. The greasing effect works wonders.
  3. Sand block, putty knife and sealant: Sand blocks and putty knives can be used to fix small cracks or joints in your home. For any kind of leaks, you can use sealants, just apply and leave it to dry.
