Spring and summer brings to mind fluttering dry leaves and flowers, mushrooming little buds and the blooming of new flowers. Mesmerising shades of flowers create a magnificent canvas of varied tints and hues. Sonam Gupta gives you simple tips to welcome the summer season.
- For your bed, opt for floral designs that are inspired by flowers like anemone, cherry blossom, dahlia, orchids, peony and zinnia. Shades of fuchsia, wisteria, lavender pink, coral pink, lime green, neon green, tomato orange, peach, coral orange and electric blue are preferable.
- Cotton infused beddings, bed sheets, spreads, comforters, quilts, pillow cases, tube pillow covers and curtains embellished with designer floral prints with a twist of delicate stripes are in trend.
- Use pillow covers with prints of flower arrangement in the middle of its own twigs and ferns. These soft furnishings are designed to elicit the spring and summer spell with a contemporary twist of fashion and comfort. Ornate flowery patterns in an exquisite spread of linen create a refreshing look for homes for the summer season.
- Add solid whites to contrast with the flower hues and spread the magic of opulence all over. The floral prints not only look young and trendy but also spread vibes of positivity and elegance.
- Deck your bedrooms with fashionable sheets to add liveliness to a dull setting. It brings out the best of spring and summer season. Sleep on a bed of roses with other equally alluring blossoms.
