Wallpapers enhance the look and feel of a space. Rohit Gupta, Managing Director, Elementto Lifestyles, tells us how to take care of this important decorative element.
- If there are children in the house try and use washable wallpapers. Opt for soothing and simple colours. This ensures less maintenance for wallpapers.
- Overly dramatic designs tend to become boring with time and eventually distress the eye.
- Opt for good quality wallpapers mainly of European or American quality as it will easily last for 6 – 7 years without any issues. Low standard wallpapers will tend to wear out and spoil the look of your room.
- For dry areas in the house use non-woven fabric wallpapers to keep it damage free. Vinyl wallpapers can be used in moist areas.
