Do you get irritated when you see clutter of tiny bobby pins, makeup, brushes, toilet papers, etc. lying all over the bathroom space. Samira Chopra, Interior Designer & Creative Head, Casa Colour, shares some cheap and easy storage hacks that will help you squeeze out extra storage space even from the tiniest bathrooms in the most aesthetic way.

  1. Go the magnetic way: If the space seems too small to store your bathing essentials, use the power of the magnet. For this, grab some tiny magnets, stick them behind a cardboard and attach this board to your blank wall or bathroom door. This is all you need to get your storage space ready.
  2. Explore the heights and depths: No space is too small till the heights and depths of blank looking walls, doors, windows and mirrors have been explored. With some amazing storage kits like sliding drawers, mirrors with hidden storage space and a wide range of shelves and baskets that can be hung can solve the storage problems. Add some hooks and magazine holders on the doors of the cabinets already present in your bathroom to tidily store small items like hair brushes, toilet papers, etc.
  3. Take inspiration from the kitchen: The tiny spice rack installed in your kitchen can also be fitted near the sink to store bathroom essentials like shampoos, toothpaste, creams, etc. The small mason jars or fruit baskets from your kitchen can also be used to store stuff like towels, sanitary napkins, ear buds and similar items.
  4. Undersink shelving: Most houses these days have wall mounted sinks, but are still unaware of the storage benefits that these sinks have. By installing a shelf or just a simple rod, the space underneath the plumbing of a wall mounted sink can be a perfect storage space to keep necessary cleaning essentials.
